Thank you for joining the Transpario contributor team. By becoming a contributor, you are helping build a more transparent, honest, and reliable internship ecosystem.

Finding an internship should not be a gamble. Unfortunately, many students spend weeks applying to programs only to discover hidden costs, training fees, certificate charges, or programs that offer no mentorship or real experience. 

Transpario is a neutral, community-driven registry that documents these details based on facts and evidence. Our mission is **transparency, not condemnation**. We do not run a "blacklist"; we simply outline what an internship actually offers so students can make informed decisions.

> **Market & Contributor Scope**
> Transpario is focused exclusively on India for its contributors, not the internship market itself (which remains global). Our membership and verification rules mandate that all contributors must be of Indian nationality.

## 📚 Core Principles
Every action you take as a contributor must align with our five core values:

| **Accuracy** | We document verifiable facts. Personal opinions, emotional bias, and assumptions must be separated from evidence. |
| **Neutrality** | We classify opportunities rather than attacking companies. If a company is upfront about charging for a course, we tag it objectively. |
| **Integrity** | We maintain strict confidentiality regarding pending cases, internal investigator discussions, and reporter identities. |
| **Respect** | We communicate professionally with both students and company representatives, maintaining a calm and objective tone. |
| **Quality** | We prioritize deep verification over rapid cataloging. A smaller database of verified listings is better than a large database of rumors. |

## 💬 Contributor Conduct & Guidelines

> **Confidentiality & Privacy**
> Under no circumstances should you share screenshots of reporter names, email addresses, or contact numbers publicly. Keep all student identity information anonymous on the public portal.

### Legal Accountability
All contributors must read, sign, and adhere to the official [Code of Conduct](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1FmyJLq8XiYSIm4aI9YHekZua1xSXbrg3/view?usp=sharing). By participating in the review process, you acknowledge that you are personally and legally liable for your actions (such as reviews published, audits conducted, or communication under the Transpario name) and agree to indemnify the platform and its administrators against any legal claims or damages resulting from violations of the Code of Conduct.

### Mandatory Redaction Checklist
Before uploading any evidence media or verification scans, you must completely crop, black-out, or blur:
* Aadhaar Card numbers, QR codes, and Virtual IDs (VIDs)
* Voter ID Card numbers
* PAN Card numbers
* UPI handles, bank account numbers, or transaction IDs
* Student legal names, academic roll numbers, and personal email addresses/phone numbers

<h3 style="page-break-before: always;">Communication Tone</h3>

* **Objective**: Use neutral language when writing listing descriptions (e.g., write *"Program requires a 150 INR certificate processing fee upon completion"* instead of *"This company is a scam trying to steal money"*).
* **De-escalation**: If a company contacts us regarding a report, reply politely with the evidence standards. Explain that the listing is fact-based and they can update their rating by submitting official policy documents showing that fees have been removed.

### Review Checklist
Before submitting a verdict, run through this quick checklist:
- [ ] Are the company name and website spelled correctly?
- [ ] Is there at least one verified Level 3 document attached as evidence?
- [ ] Have all formatting links and tags been set correctly?
- [ ] Is the description neutral, professional, and free from personal attacks?
- [ ] Did you assign a fair, calculated Transparency Score?
